You will be better off to buy a lefty guitar.

The reason you can&#039;t do it is that you will have to replace the nut, because the grooves won&#039;t be the right width to accommodate the strings. 

Also the angle of the saddle can&#039;t be changed without either plugging the slot in the old bridge and re-routing the bridge on the opposite angle, or replacing the bridge altogether. If you don&#039;t change the angle of the saddle you&#039;ll never be able to tune your guitar.

The interior bracing will also be backwards to a lefty guitar.
