Learn fingerstyle guitar : Freight train tutorial 2 + tab

Freight train is a great song to getting started with playing fingerstyle guitar. This lesson features 4 versions of this song and with each version there will be some things added.
This is the second version (easy-intermediate). The biggest difference is that you have to play the melody on and off the beat while playing an alternate bass. It’s split up in 12 parts and I’ve tried to explain it step by step and in a slowed down way.

Xbox 360 Guitar Hero 3 Wireless Guitar setup?

My gf just bought Guitar Hero 3 with the wireless Les Paul guitar. The thing is that she called me and asked me how to set it up with the Xbox 360. Since I’m more of a PC person, I really didn’t know how to answer her. She pushed the Start button to turn it on but nothing.. What should my gf do in order to successfully setup the wireless guitar controller to work with her copy of Guitar Hero 3? She said that the little X on the guitar just blinks and doesn’t do anything, but her wireless controller works. She said she has tried holding the button down and pushing it and nothing works.
turn on the xbox. then press the Xbox button on the guitar. on the bottomish part of the guitar(near the headset port) is a small black button. press that button and the sync button on the 360 at the same time. the Xbox button on the controller should spin around a few times and then connect entirely.

Have you ever wanted to get the flutter technique out of your floyd rose tremolo? Look no further! In this video and pdf guide, I’m going to show you how to set up your tremolo bar to achieve the flutter technique. Even if you aren’t looking to use it, this guide will help you get your trem bar much more stiff, and get it to stay up when necessary.
The flutter technique is when you flip the tip of your trem bar, and the springs in the back of the guitar vibrate rapidly. This creates a ‘phoodbluhbldoobluh’ sound, which can be quite nice when used sparingly, and for effects.
In the video, I show you how to set up a push in bar, and a screw in bar. The push in bar is on an Ibanez Jem77b BRMR Bad Horsie guitar (mirror finish), and the tremolo is an Edge Pro. The other screw in bar is on a standard Floyd Rose copy (might be a Gotoh) on some cheap Jackon Kelly or K-10 guitar.
Whether you have a screw in bar or a push in bar, this guide will help you set up your trem for the flutter technique, and stiffen it to have precise pressure so it’ll stay up when you need it. The nail polish method, and the teflon tape method (plumber’s tape method) are both discussed here
