I mean what kind of pick-ups he has in his guitar, effects set up the amp he uses. First person that can give me a website with his rig will be the lucky new owner of 10 brand new points! As well as my thanks because I have looked around and can’t seem to find it, tried guitargeek.com so don’t bother looking there!
I’ll look around and see what I can find.
I’m looking into buying Power Slinkys for playing in standard E tuning and drop C tuning but I’ve heard some string sizes might require you to get your guitar setup differently. Will Power Slinkys be safe for a Gibson Les Paul Studio without any additional work on the guitar?
I’ve been using Super Slinkys and so far they’ve worked okay… except they tend to break more than I’d like >.<
you shouldnt have to get your guitar set up differently. The only thing that might make a difference is the bridge. i cant believe your askign this when you have a 1300$ guitar lol. okay so idk why you even want anything too heavy. i recomend like a .09 thats a medium. you could fit heavy strings on there also… but its not really necessary.
well i dont know a thing really,i just want to try and see if i can learn how to play and if so then improve!but what type of guitar should i start on?and how much?
It depends on what style of guitar you wish to play. Lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass, classical, blues, flamenco, country, folk, whatever.
If you want to bend the strings and make it scream like a heavy rock star, then an electric is the place to start.
If you want to play rhythm guitar start with a semi-acoustic.
Decide on the style and then decide which guitar you want.
If you were starting to learn accoustic and or electric guitar, what are some good low key, slow paced, maybe even "sentimental" songs that would be great to learn?
stairway to heaven is on tab but very confusing to read. my guitar teacher taught it to me. if you like the white stripes. those are fun. black sabbath. chuck berry, for a little challenge. smoke on the water of course. any songs you like. if you want to play, you can.
I’m new to playing the guitar. what are some easy guitar tabs to learn from popular/ known musicians?
some good examples: Beatles, Goo Goo Dolls, Dashboard…?
Oasis, system of a down if you are thinking electric…
If you’re new, chck this site out!
