My daughter just received a Guitar Hero III for wii and we are having difficulty setting it up. I.E: Troubles with putting the wii remote into the instructed hole.
Also, be careful not to have the whammy bar pushed down while you’re doing that. If it’s pushed down when you connect the remote, it probably won’t work properly until you disconnect and do it again.
all i am familiar with, and this is very primitive, is a generic guitar to distortion to amp setup
for a distortion pedal i say go with the Boss metalcore. i have it and it works perfect for stuff like As I Lay Dying and Unearth. keep your amp to a clean tone setting. you dont want to mix the pedal and the amp’s distortion, you can end up with some real nasty sounds.
i took piano lessons before and boy it was kinda hard(yea) so is guitar any easier and faster to learn? how long would it take to learn it?

it totally depends how hard you are working and your creativity … its not that difficult but do practice a lot ..
you need at least one month to learn important basics… but practice is real important…
consult any pro guitarist fro guidance…

I dont want to learn how to read guitar tabs, I want to learn how to read notes. I have played violin for 8 years and I know how to read notes, so will that help me learn faster guitar notes? I just need to know I guess the basics of the guitar, to see if I really like it or note. Thanks in advance.
Try musicards.net. They have flashcards for each note showing where it is on the guitar.

Try "Hey There Delilah" by The Plain White T’s it’s quite easy. It is grade 4. You should be able to buy it online or in a good music shop.
